Booking a tour can be a complicated business with all the many options available on the market today. At Global Village we can help you sift through the sea of brochures by pointing you in the right direction. There is a huge difference in the products available and we can help you find the right product for you.
When booking a tour it’s worth keeping a few things in mind and asking yourselves a few questions to cut down the options:

Firstly where do you want to go and when would seem like suitable starting point. If Africa is your choice then where in Africa? If you’re not already not sure then you need to ask yourself what it is you want to get out of the trip and what it is you want to see…this should at least cut down the # of countries from 40+ !

Tour cost isn’t everything. Try and pick the tour that includes everything you’re after. Take care to look carefully at the kitty costs. Some tours may seem very cheap but then you get hit with the same cost again in local payment!

Take out adequate insurance. Any reputable company will insist on this and check up on it anyway. Our policy will cover for all overland requirements.

How long have you got? Remember to take into consideration that you will probably want to spend a little time at either end. Few people fly in on the day the tour starts and fly out on the day it ends – what happens if the trip gets delayed for example.

Always try and travel with a reputable company…it may save you a lot of heartache in the long run.

Enjoy your trip. You will very possibly never get an opportunity like this again!
