The 42 day African Overland trip from Capetown to Nairobi was the perfect way to end my 2 year working holiday visa in London. I stretched myself to new limits: sleeping in tents, wearing the same clothes for weeks, coming face to face with wild animals and trekking to the top of a sand dune for sunset. I even sky dived and sand boarded; all in the same day! The tour leaders were just amazing, teaching us the local language, empathising over our sunburn and drinking with us over the campfire. Africa is a must do, an amazing contrast of land and people. And for me… well I also met the love of my life!

We had a brilliant trip from Nairobi to the Cape. The group was great and we saw 4 out of the big 5 (Those pesky leopards). Spent more than I meant but thats coz we went out quite a bit in Zanzibar and Cape Town. Fab trip - highly recommend it!

Unforgettable safari - saw everything the Masai Mara to the Serengetti to Nungwe in Zanzibar to Lake Malawi to a bungee in Victoria Falls to Namibia and those dunes. Keep thinking of it.. Best 3 months of my life.

Thats the best trip I've ever done. Africa is just so beautiful and the pople and food and truck were excellent. Flights back home on Qantas were good too. Wish I could go every year.
