We travel along the base of the Great Rift Valley to the animal wonderland of the Masai Mara game reserve found in South Western Kenya on the Kenya and Tanzania border. It is destination to thousands of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle in the spectacular annual migration. It is also home to the big five, abundant bird and wildlife and the Masai – the semi nomadic people whose culture and ways have changed little over the centuries. Our tented camp for two nights is nestled on the border of the reserve, a stone throw away for the gate into the reserve. Days are spent searching for the big five, whilst nights are spent around the campfire with the sounds of the bush as our companions.

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive late afternoon.
Day 2: Full day game viewing and exploring the Masai Mara Game Reserve.
Day 3: Leaving the Masai Mara via the northern part for the reserve back to Nairobi.

Hwange National Park is Zimbabwe’s biggest game reserve and one of the finest havens for wildlife in Africa.
